I Think It's Vital That Students Come in to Study History

I think it's vital that students coming in to study history, at whatever level, in whatever institution, feel that the curriculum takes them serious. And decolonization is a part of that. While people should feel taken seriously by their own subject, we also want to encourage them,. as everyone has said, to range outside the familiar. The final thing i want to say on this is, a, w, we've got to keep the politicians out of curricula. We s that history shouldn't become a plaything of politicians arom, you know, whatever the political background.
