Ford's Transition to LPO Is a Big Deal for Ford Motor Company
Is it true that Ford, a giant car company with a steady source of revenue, could not secure loans to build the $11 billion worth of battery factories? It's a great question. But even there, what I would say is even for Ford Motor Company, when you think about what this transition looks like, Ford is going to have to spend upwards above $25 billion to be able to make this transition. And so you could imagine if they did it purely on Wall Street, without using our program, that the terms may have been quite a bit less favorable.
