Peter Bergen: The response of minneapolis, as you can imagine, as a police department on its knees. Since the killing of george floyd, what, some 14 months ago, they have had serious tuition pepas not wanting to go to work or leaving that police department. They have been willing and eager to work with target on reform ideas. And there was the idea that they could possibly replace e outduty police security with community groups who would engage in sort of non violent, non violent or dascilation of violenceand kind of ease people, or shop lifters, out of the store.
