The Importance of Morality
Aristotle and Aquinas readily admitted it's because the human animal is the same all over. There are anomalous nuts out there, but they have to deal with those for the good of everybody else. And in terms of evolution, yeah, there is no morality in natural selection,. But there is once you get intelligent enough to have cultural selection kick in.
