Glasgow to Adopt Feminist Town Planning

Glasgow has become the first city in UK to adopt a feminist town planning approach into official policy. A motion was unanimously backed by councillors at Glasgow City Council last week. It will see the city commit to making women central to all aspects of planning, public realm design, policy development and budget. But what discernible difference could that make? How could the city feel and look different? Joining us now are Holly Bruce, Scottish Green councillor for Langside; Leslie Kern, professor of geography and environment from Mount Allison University: Feminist City Claiming Space in a Man-made World.
