I Don't Feel Lonesome
christo tippet talks to social researcher and wise woman brerne brown. i think we all know, everyone knows, that experience of being surrounded by people and feeling completely alone. When i stand up alone in the wilderness and take a stand on something i believe in, or stand up for something i don't think is right, i feel connected to every other person who's made that pilgrimage through the wilderness. I don't feel lonely. And so i love, again, caciopo's definition of loneliness is being on the outside looking in.
