There is at least one enormous thing that the Justice Department certainly has access to that the committee does not. It's Pat Chippalon's testimony as to his conversations with Donald Trump and those he withheld as part of his consensual appearance. He refused to divulge material that would be executive privilege protected. The executive privilege does not sustain a grand jury subpoena in D.C. Circuit law.
