She also says that they are determined to root out corrupt officers. Danielle Deadweiler wins best leading actress award for Chinoya Chukou's Till. The film tells the true story of Mamie Mobley, whose son Emmett was tortured and lynched after allegedly whistling at a white woman. We see how her grief turns to action and galvanises support for the civil rights movement.
