Andrew Puzder's Withdrawal From the Senate on Wednesday Night
Andrew Puzder, a fast food executive who was scheduled for a Senate hearing today, withdrew his nomination Wednesday night. Democratic senators like Elizabeth Warren had opposed Puzder's business practices from the beginning but Trump saw something in him and was committed to his nomination. There were allegations that he had abused his ex-wife 30 years ago; she has since recanted this claim.
