The Shadow Hills Vandergrap Mix Bus Compressor Is Not the Way to Go for Mix Bus

The shadow hills vandergrap is a gorgeous sounding little compressor. It's a phenomenal way to go on mixed busts, cause you can use tem for everything else under the sun as well. But i would not advise people getting mix bus compressors and using them until they have mixes that are so bold that they need to be rained in. Get some fat stink in preamps, or get some really cool instruments. And work on treating your room, do other things to get the sounds that you are mixing more polished.
