Did the Beastie Boys Clear Their Samples?
Ferrell Monch's album was used by the Japanese Godzilla. Rokus records went out of business. De la Soul did all their songs with Tommy Boy and apparently they didn't get sued. They cleared no, but nothing was cleared either. I love sampling. It's the best part of hip hop even corny cheesy ones.
