The Importance of Having a Baby
Three weeks ago, my husband and I were home with the girls. My oldest daughter wanted to come with me, which isn't unusual. She gets bored easily and has the energy to walk up and down the stairs several times before wearing out. As I'm putting the softener back onto the shelf, she walks past me in her pink shirt and ponytail like it was nothing. That wasn't my daughter. There is absolutely no way she could have made it from where the laundry is in the basement, to the complete other side in the time it took me to put the softener on the shelf and close the lid.
