The Importance of Interaction in Interface Design
Don Norman doors are like the most classic Don Norman design of everyday things example. You can really easily just say push or pull, you know, you can write text on there and that clears things up. The affordance of the interaction method with the door is a greater indication because if this thing has one of those push bars, those horizontal push bars, like there's no way I'm pulling this door, right? Right. So how does this relate to interface design? Well, like I said with the toggle switch, it should predict its own behavior. It should telegraph its ownbehavior.
