Jonestown: A Rescue Mission

Jones asked Congressman Ryan to give a speech about the people's temple. He wants Ryan to cement the positivity of his visit and give Jonestown a clean bill of health. The delegation gets its answer later that night when Vernon Gostney passes a note to NBC reporter Don Harris, asking for their help in getting away from Jones' town. None of the original interviewees indicated they wanted to leave Jonestown. But now that a few have voiced their concerns, more and more people are approaching the group for help. This is now a rescue mission.
