How Did Joseph Smith Remember the First Vision?
i was in a navous with my wife on a smester travel study in the early nineties when i got incephalitis. I spent about two weeks in the university of io hospital, not knowing who i was or where i was. And ah, that fascinating and very, very frustrating experience of losing my memory has shaped really, just about everything i've thought about ever since. The first vision didn't necessarily have to become the founding story of the church. It's an interesting thing to think of the choices that had to be made for the first vision to become a major part of our understanding.
