The History of HPS

A lot of my interests now revolve around what I would broadly call interdisciplinary epistemology. And that's how scientists with very different backgrounds engage with one another, either fail to communicate or successfully collaborate in common problems they want to tackle. The concept that I think is really important is teleology, which is a big word that doesn't get used that much these days but basically refers to the study or a focus on purposes. It goes back to Greek antiquity, where some of the first debates occurred.
