Rheumatoid Arthritis - Treatment Options for Manor Feel Syndrome
Manor felt syndrome is a rupture of the FPL, which is the most common flexor rupture. This occurs in the carpal tunnel due to a skafoid spur. Traven options include an FDS4 to FPL tendon transfer plus excision of skafoid spurs. In radial sagittal band failure, extensor tendons migrate and slip into the ulnar gutter,. On physical exam in these patients, they will lose active extension. If the MCP is placed in extension actively, then the patient can hold it extended. Intensive is tendon transfer, interposition graft or a DAREX procedure.
