Samantha Walsh's Murder
Samantha's uncle Gordon Walsh published the book he'd written about Sam's murder, titled Into the Night. The family had received around 15,000 cards, drawings and letters of sympathy from across the country. Michael Lewis was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole for seven years. He requested a private hearing, which was his right, but it also upset the Walsh family as they felt it was an attempt to prevent them from being heard.
