Jamie Siddens and the Victorian 1990s
The Sheffield Shield final of 1991 was played at the MCG in early 1991. Victoria were up against New South Wales who'd beaten them outright in late January a young Michael Bevin unbeaten 153 in that clash at the SCG. Jamie Siddens made 124 not out there's our number with 15 fours and a six in what rather controversially turned out to be his final game for Victoria he went to South Australia and played in that shield final that you're referring to. The clue was this was an outlier from the first game I ever attended live remembering I'm in my mid 40s I could only attend the first two days because of school I didn't actually see the 124 however
