Buck was in charge of the motor and let it sit in sea water for so long that it was broken. They could have landed on paradise far sooner, but because of buck, they didn't. It would take them another week to get on to the island. But as they get there, their boat hit a coral reef, and boom, they hit something. So Buck valiantly dove into the water to check on the boat. He came face-to-face with a shark at least six feet long. Sirka did not find it funny. The men were pulled free and pulled through the channel at a steady pace.
