The Boom in the Participation Rate Among Prime Age Workers
The participation rate among older workers rose until February 2020, then it dropped off a cliff. What we've seen come back is the participation rate among prime age workers driven by a record high participation among prime age women. We're still trailing all of our competitors out there, including those to the North in Canada by over 8% in our participation rate. That's sad. And that's unacceptable.
