Carolina Gold Rice

Carolina gold rice does not mill very well. It breaks. I mean, the yield, if you have ten thousand pounds of carolina gold rice in the field, i think you're lucky to probably get 50 to 60 % of that that ultimately gets a bagged and out for sale. The clear spirit that we have out on the market at present is made from a table rice that comes out of arkansas. And it shares a lot of the same qualities and has a much more aromatic sub species called charleston gold rice. We've got a line called southern blend, which we're hoping to be able to release later this year, depending on hitting the flavor profile. Af
