The History of the IBM 5100

IBM 5100 was not a computer built for the home user, but rather for engineers and mathematicians. It had 16 kilobytes of RAM at its base model and it used a tape drive for storing media and loading programs. IBM would refine their design in two updates: The 5110 and the 5120 were general office computers.
