Is Superman Born With Superpowers?

Superman's story in our universe, or at least soor solar system, clearly begins with invincibility. I wonder whether that is one of the things that has made it more difficult for superman to catch on in this century. Even a new bat man movies that came out, an iron man noman, you reference iron man in the book because the flaws are so manias even after he achieves his quoten quo powers.
