Meal was still bigger if you were wealthy, becaue you tended to have a lot more people. Mince pies will certainly feature and christmas pudding is named as such. Turkey wasn't universal wheely until after the war - partly because people didn't have ovens big enough turkeyin. Most modern chicken taste pretty awful so it's no surprise that turkeys are popular now. But i'm e history extora prodcast hundreds of turkeys on sticks, hanging up all over the walls,. Then you'd have whole pigs, whole lambs, venison gamei mean, just you couldn't see the butchers shops for all of the meat anymore.
