"I was really kind of thrown into the fire very quickly. And I loved it," she says. "The selflessness of the doctors who could be out there, you know, making tons of money ... Just using their talents for good was really humbling" She recalls weeping when 3,500 people were going to be sent home after four months in Liberia.
