Searching for the Missing
Rudyard kipling, briton's first nobel prize winner for literature, lost his son in 19 15. For four years he and his wife carey would not accept the fact that he was probably dead. They then spent the next decade searching for his grave, which they never found. In 19 30 a memorial wall of the 20 thousand soldiers lost at loose was unveiled with er john's name on it. 60 years later an unknown soldier who had previously been attributed to an unknown lieutenant of the irish guards was named after him. But roger kipling himself didn't know this until much later.
