LeBron James - The Name Came After the Metric
The name of LeBron came after the metric. PIPM, which was a very good stat and something that we used to have up at B-Ball Index, disappeared along with Jacob Goldstein when he was hired in his now doing great work for Washington Wizards. The feedback has been positive, but also had a good bit of predictive value. And if you just look at his LeBron value overall, it may not fully give him the credit given what he's doing for his young age.
