What Kind of Leader Did She Become for the Global Community?

Merkl led germany through a rise in authoritarianism and populism around the world. She didn't really speak out against for even within the eu, where illiberal democracies were taking hold - she just didn't say enough about it. There's always been this little bit of disappointment, perhaps, that she didn't do more. But in the end, when you're looking at an election here in germany, where only one third of the candidates were women, that shows that they're not doing enough.
