Then, in 97, Everything Collided
When i was 17, 18, doing my ay levels, the country was completely shot down. There were kalashnikovs outside my window every day that were falling on my window sill. I didn't know whether i would finish my a levels, because school was shot and we were told to just do lessons through television. And so at that point, i didn't think, in 19 97, that anything actually had happened that would make more optimistic about the future. It looked just as grim in 97 as it had looked in 90.
