The NFL Is Free to Do It

Kaepernick took a position. This position was to kneel before Tip Off Time during the national anthem. That did not interfere with the game. It did not impede anybody's ability to enjoy the 60 minutes of football they came to watch. So at the end of the day, you're seeing something you don't like for a few seconds. From an American citizen that had every right to do what he did even if you disagree with it.
