Zach Buchanan's Profile of Ellie Delacruz
Ellie Delacruz is the youngest of nine children left home when he was six years old to focus on baseball. He had all these siblings who had been in the game including his twin brother who dropped out at various stages and at this point when he was 16 before he signed for that $65,000 he was going to quit himself. For Ellie he didn't know after 2020 what was going to happen in 2021. When the Reds next saw him there he was six five and he had been working out and all of a sudden it just blossomed.
