Melissa Kingen's Story

Melissa Kingen is the youngest of five children in a close-knit family. She was especially tight with her sister Crystal. Tests show that she has a low verbal IQ, meaning she sometimes has trouble expressing herself and understanding others. Her parents say while Melissa did need extra help in school, she excelled at art.
