What Is Your Task as a Christian Leader?

i've been reading john calvin in the last couple of days, and it's very interesting. He says that when a magistrate is considering to retaliating against a wicked enemy, be very careful not to allow himself to be carried away by some harsh passions. And he says also, it's important for us to reflect on the common humanity of our enemy. N i'm not a pacifist, and calvin wasn't eitherah, but i do think that those are very important spiritual exercises. Especially when this is an important time to be a getting our people ready for what may, in fact, be some very difficult military decisions.
