Introduction

In our last week's halakah we had discussed the infamous incident of the satanic verses. But it appears that there was no such story and the fact is that the Quraysh prostrated simply because of the power of Surat and Najim. This rumor led to the Muslims to return back from Abyssinia and when they came back they discovered that this rumor was false. Now a number of points here before we get back to the actual story. The question arises about the number of people who immigrated the first time to Abyssinia and who was and who was not a part of that initial batch.
