As a woman, when you used to go in those early stages and try and get funding for your business, was your gender again, a hindrance to you? Absolutely it was. I found myself in a very hostile financial world because, a, those were not the days of venture funding. And i had nothing except that ten thousand rupees in the bank, which was not considered adequate collateral for what i was seeking. The odds were really stacked against me.
