The Importance of Being Compassionate

I saw tears welling up in his eyes as the frustration of not being able to talk began to overwhelm him. I didn't care for anything he had to say at that point. He actually let out a kind of whimper as I stood up and walked out. After getting back into my car I only made it about two blocks before I pulled over and just started bawling. But this other voice in my head just kept saying, that was him. It had to be him. When I drove over to my mom's place to tell her about it she also thought it was the same guy.
