Is There a Chance That Federalism Could Work to Our Advantage?
i think there's something to be said for a meaningful level of political and administrative decentralization. Unfortunately, the mode of federalism that we've seen in the united states has operated mostly to protect and advance the interests of people who already have power. This makes it extremely difficult for poor people, working class people, african americans and other people that have been on the short end of the stick throughout American history. I'm from idaho so i guess the question is sort of, like, is there a way in which federalism can work to our advantage?
