Is Google Glass's Failure a Failure of the Past?
VR is kind of cybernetics. Creating that loop. It's in between because it leaves, because it's diaphanous, it leaves you partly gathering data from the glass and partly looking through it. One reason I turned to the history of headphones was it was a really interesting sort of legacy of something that for a long time people felt quite similarly about. The headsets were also heavy. And it wasn't a space for that in polite society.
