I remember hearing, or I think I saw it on the documentary about Glenn Campbell that when he was going, he could still play every song he ever played on the guitar. And Tony Bennett remembered all the lyrics to all of his songs, even though he was struggling with dementia. So our brain is much more plastic. It's much more capable of reshaping itself and rewiring itself when we're younger. But that doesn't mean it doesn't happen when we're older. Learning things when you're younger is easier, but you can still learn things in old age. You just have to push yourself.
