The Story of Abraham and Isaac
Abraham laid the wood for the altar, wood for the sacrifice, on the back of his son. Isaac is stronger than his father abraham in this in this time in their lives. This is unmistakably a preparation for christ's sacrifice. Abraham is the father in faith. Why? Because when it came down to it, he was willing to trust god.
