The Struggles of People With HIV AIDS
The way that NIH funding worked at the time really incentivized them to double down on things that had already gotten approval. They didn't really, it didn't matter to them if the patients died faster in a kind of material sense. And you have all of these people with AIDS who have kind of, what's remarkable is that these organizations that crop up are able to shape how those organizations actually like factor in their voice and think about what it means to be a person with AIDS.
