We had a coach from sydney ne weman's rowing club, but only once on the week end. We would row each morning during the week, and each afternoon, after school, we would go out on our own. The first race we did, which was near haberfield or there, i think we rowed into the boat next us. After a term or more, we did a regatta, and we stayed in a caravan at tare, so on the river at tare,. And we came forth in that race, and nearly third.
