The Inclusive Friendship
The inklings began as a group of friends at Oxford who were interested in two things, Christianity and literature. The idea was to be critical friends to each other to help them develop their literary projects but also to get constructive feedback. By the mid-1940s, there was quite a big group of people, including some significant people like Charles Williams.
