Is Cuba the Birthplace of the American Revolution?
There are some words in both Spanish and English today that endure from the indigenous people of the island. About a third of women in contemporary Cuba have mitochondrial DNA from an indigenous woman which is a remarkable number, indeed very remarkable. Havana became this place that was just bustling with ships carrying all kinds of treasure so it would be really important for the Americans because the port of Havana is so close to the port of New Orleans.
