The Legend of a Cuban Mafiosa
Lansky is said to have channelled money through swiss banks and various holding companies in order to hide his wealth. He was not completely against taking risks, and despite being spectacularly wealthy, never seemed to be enough. After returning to power in a military coup in 19 52, cuban president, furensio batista invited lansky back to further reform the gambling industry. Batista and lansky would control cuban gambling in return for secret payments or kick backs, and favorable treatment from the government.
