How to Label Low and No Alcohol Beers
Government guidance says alcohol free should be applied to drinks up to 0.05% ABV. Low alcohol is for drinks at 1.2% or below. Many food items that you put in your mouth every day contain more alcohol than many of these drinks. These rules only also apply to alcohol free versions of alcoholic drinks. They don't apply to soft drinks. Most of the big brands' alcohol free options are comparably priced. However, some of the smaller producers can make them cheaper or a little bit better. And why do they often cost so much? It's just fine in several ways - one is that it's an alcohol free beer and I'm not talking about cheap ones here.
