The Day of Atonement in Leviticus 10
In Leviticus 10, the sons of Aaron were struck down after they penetrated inside the holy place. Only the high priest was supposed to do that and it had a lot to do with why they were struck down. The word appear here is raw in Hebrew and it is the same term used for visible appearance elsewhere when we have like the word of the Lord or Yahweh appearing in human form.
