The Importance of Innocence
I remember once when I was like eight or nine I had a neighbor who was about four or five years older than me a guy and we hung out. My mom said if he ever tries to touch you in a way that doesn't feel good it's not gonna do that. It was creepy and weird sounding to me. Like this notion that we got to tune up every nine year old on sex whatever it is isn't going to work. You've got to be an adult for the vast majority of your life so let's just extend the innocence as long as you can.
