i wanted to clarify an important distinction between a product that rooted in language cells and a new product that brave writer is selling. The quill teaches the essential skills needed to provide a foundation for early literacy in reading, writing and math. We look at handwriting, not just to represent the alphabet, but how to use a big arm or hand and many implements to create marks that represent meaning to children. And then we look at mathematics as a literacy that evolves in quantity, scale, proportion - looking at mathematical ideas, distance, time, measurement. All of these lay the groundwork for effective literacy in reading,. writing and mathematics.
